1. What Patesco is
Patesco is a Wix App Market app that measures whether AI assistants mention your business, benchmarks you against competitors, and helps you improve it with a fix checklist. By installing or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.
2. Who can use it
You must be the owner of the Wix site (or authorized to install apps on it) and able to enter into this agreement. The app is a business tool, not for personal or consumer use.
3. Plans, billing, and Wix
- Free plan: one visibility scan with a limited question set, your true score, your top competitors named, and one complete fix revealed. No payment required.
- Premium plan: a recurring subscription (currently $19/month) for weekly scans, the full fix checklist, competitor tracking, and the weekly progress email.
- Wix is the billing processor / merchant of record. All payments, price localization, taxes, renewals, and any free trial are handled through the Wix billing system. We never see or store your card details.
- Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your Wix account; cancellation stops future renewals.
4. Refunds
Refunds and cancellations are handled through Wix’s billing system and policies. Wix processes purchases, returns, and chargebacks, and retains the right to approve cancellations and refunds at its discretion. If you believe you are owed a refund, contact us at support@patesco.app and we will review it and, where appropriate, initiate a refund through the Wix app dashboard, subject to Wix’s policies. Failed payments follow Wix’s grace-period and retry process.
5. What the app does to your site (and the safety guarantee)
- The app reads your public site content and the Wix data you authorize (see the Privacy Policy).
- When you apply a fix, the app makes changes only through the sanctioned Wix APIs (for example, your llms.txt, robots.txt, product SEO data, or an embedded structured-data script).
- Every automatic fix shows a preview first, stores the previous state, and can be reverted in one click. We designed the app not to break your live site, and we do not inject fragile code outside the approved Wix APIs.
- Some fixes are “guided”: the app gives you drafted content and deep-links you into the right Wix editor to apply it yourself.
6. Honest limits of the scores
The visibility scores are based on the AI assistants’ APIs. Because the consumer chat apps can be configured differently, the answers a person sees may differ from the API answers the app measures. The app is a measurement and guidance tool: it gives you a consistent, comparable signal and its movement over time. We do not guarantee any specific ranking, mention, traffic, sales, or result in any AI assistant. AI assistants are third-party services outside our control and they change over time.
7. Your responsibilities
- Keep your Wix account and any content you add (questions, competitor names, contact email) lawful and accurate.
- Use the app only for your own business and in line with Wix’s terms and applicable law.
- Do not misuse the app: no reverse engineering, no attempts to break or overload it, no use to harm others.
8. Third-party services
The app relies on Wix, AI assistant providers, cloud hosting, and email delivery. Your use of those services through the app is also subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party outages, changes, or decisions (for example, an AI assistant changing how it answers).
9. Intellectual property
We own the app and its content. You keep ownership of your site and your business data. You grant us the limited permission needed to operate the app for you (read your data, generate questions, run scans, apply fixes you request). Fixes and content the app generates for your site are yours to use.
10. Availability
We aim to keep the app running reliably but do not promise uninterrupted service. We may update, change, or discontinue features. If we discontinue the app, we will give reasonable notice where we can.
11. Disclaimers and liability
The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Termination
You may stop using the app and uninstall it at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or misuse the app. On uninstall, your data is deleted per the Privacy Policy (within 30 days).
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If changes are material we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
