Patesco on a Wix site: what it reads, what it changes, and what it leaves alone
Patesco is an app in the Wix App Market that tells you whether AI assistants mention your business when buyers ask for a recommendation, and helps you move that number. This page is the full record of what it touches on your site, written so you can check it against the permissions screen before you install.
What it does on a Wix site
Install it, and Patesco reads your published site the way an assistant would, works out what a buyer would ask to find a business like yours, and puts those questions to ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini. It records whether you were named, how high in the answer, and which competitors were named instead. That becomes one score out of 100, and the score arrives with the fix worth doing next.
On the free plan it runs once. On Premium it runs every week, so you get a line rather than a reading, and an email when the line moves. Nothing gets added to your site to make this work. There is no tracking script, no widget, and no change to how your site looks. Patesco reads the same public pages your customers read, plus the business information you already gave Wix.
What it reads, and what it never reads
Two sources, both narrow. The first is the set of Wix permissions you approve on the install screen. The second is your published website, fetched over the open web exactly as a visitor or a crawler fetches it.

What it never reads
- Anything about your visitors. Patesco places nothing on your site, so it cannot see who visits, what they click, or what they buy. Your customers’ personal data never reaches us.
- Your site owner email. Wix offers that permission and Patesco deliberately does not request it. You type a contact address into the app if you want the weekly email, or you leave it blank.
- Anything unpublished. Drafts, member-only pages and password-protected pages are invisible to the crawl, for the same reason they are invisible to an assistant.
- Orders, customers or payment details. Wix processes every payment. Card details never touch our systems.

What it changes on your site, and how to undo it
Five fixes apply from the dashboard. Each one shows you the exact change first, reads the current state and stores it before writing, and reverts in one click to precisely what was there before. None of them touches your pages, your design, or any other app.

What it will not change for you
Three items on the checklist stay guided, and we would rather say so on this page than have you discover it after paying.
- Page titles and meta descriptions. Wix does not expose a write API for per-page SEO fields, so Patesco flags the exact pages that are thin, suggests wording that matches the questions buyers are asking, and you make the change in your Wix editor.
- FAQ and page content. When a question keeps going to a competitor because your site never answers it in plain words, Patesco drafts the question and answer text. Publishing words in your own voice is your call, not ours, and content written by a tool and posted unread is how a site loses the voice that made it worth recommending.
- Bing IndexNow. This one lives outside Wix entirely. Patesco gives you the steps and the links; the account is yours to create.
This is the honest half of the pitch. An app that claimed to fix all eight in one click would be claiming write access it does not have.
Install, plans and billing
Installing takes a couple of minutes. You open the listing in the Wix App Market, review the permissions screen, and approve. Patesco provisions your site and starts the first scan straight away, which finishes in a minute or two. The dashboard lives inside your Wix dashboard, so there is no second account and no separate login.
The free plan runs one scan of 5 buyer questions across all three assistants and shows the real result: your score, your competitors by name, and one complete fix you can apply. Nothing is blurred out, because a score you cannot read is not a free tier.
Premium is $19 per month. It runs a scan every week on 25 questions, adds the per-assistant breakdown, the full fix checklist, questions you write yourself, and the weekly email that tells you what moved.
Wix handles the billing. Wix is the merchant of record for App Market purchases, sets the price in your local currency, handles tax, and processes renewals and refunds. You upgrade and cancel from your Wix dashboard, and we never see your card details. The Terms of Use spell out the refund path.

Wix ships its own AI visibility report, free, in every dashboard: Analytics, then Overviews, then AI Visibility. It covers ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, compares you to competitors, and shows which sources were cited. If you have not opened it, open it before you install anything, including this. It is included with your site and it is a real data source.
Wix publishes what it does and does not do, and the honest reading is that it is built for a periodic look rather than a tracked line. Per the Wix Help Center it needs at least 50 unique visitors to your site in the last 30 days before it will display data, it keeps the last 5 test results, and you can change your question set and run a new test once per day. Its advice for improving the number is to focus on enhancing your SEO.

FAQ
Does Patesco add anything to my site's code?
No tracking script and no widget. The only thing it can add to your pages is a structured data block in the head, which is a fix you choose to apply and can remove in one click. Everything else it writes goes to llms.txt, robots.txt, or the SEO fields on your products.
Can it break my site?
Every automatic fix reads the current state first, stores it, then writes. Undo puts back exactly what was there. Patesco does not touch your pages, your theme, your apps, or anything a visitor sees, so a fix cannot change how your site looks.
Does it work on a free Wix site?
It installs and scans on any published Wix site. Two things are worth knowing: your site has to be published and indexable for assistants to read it at all, and Wix lists an upgraded site with a connected domain as a prerequisite for some of its own SEO tools, so check what your plan gives you before you rely on any single fix.
Do I need Wix Stores or Wix Bookings?
No. Patesco reads whichever of them you have, because products and services make the buyer questions sharper, and it works from your business profile and your published pages when you have neither. It is used by service businesses as much as by stores.

What happens to my data if I uninstall?
Uninstalling from your Wix site triggers deletion of your site and business data, the generated questions and answers, your scores, and any contact email you entered, within 30 days. Fixes you applied stay applied unless you undo them first, because they live on your site, not on ours.
